Bootsnipp.com is a great tool for web developers or designers to access free HTML snippets. It is specifically designed for the Bootstrap HTML/CSS/JS framework.

What kind of elements can be found on Bootsnipp?

  • Navigation
  • Footer
  • Calendar
  • Shopping
  • Search bar/page
  • Polls
  • Login/Register
  • Blog layouts
  • Responsive breadcrumbs
  • And many more snippets!

Let’s say you are looking for code to create a shopping cart. After completing a search, you would find the one that best fit your needs.

Bootsnipp allows users to preview each snippet. They also have the option to view the snippet on a full screen to get a better understanding of how it might look. More importantly, Bootsnipp shows users what they really want to know, the HTML/CSS. There is a shortcut to copy the snippet, which they call, “fork this.” Once you copy the snippet, it will redirect you an editing page. This allows users to not only edit snippets but they also can create their own snippets from scratch. Users can save their snippets and even share them to Facebook or Twitter.

Another feature Bootsnipp has is the ability to change the theme. The default theme is Plain Bootstrap. Changing the theme could alter elements such as the layout, color scheme, font, or sizing. Bootsnipp has a variety of themes to choose from.
