Perhaps you don’t have Adobe Photoshop but would like to convert a file into a PSD. CloudConvert allows users to convert just about any file they want. Currently, the website is in a beta state but the company plans to be fully up and running soon. CloudConvert can convert over 100 different formats such as mp3, Microsoft Word documents, PSD, HTML document, and many others. For a complete list of the supported file formats CloudConvert offers, please visit the conversion page.
CloudConvert does not require any software. Simply upload the file directly on the CloudConvert website. The website allows users to either drag and drop files or select files from either their computer, Dropbox, Google Drive or from a URL. Then users must select the location of where they want the converted file to go. They have the option to email, send to Dropbox, or Google Drive. Cloud Convert also offers API to customers, which can allow for more customized files or programs.
CloudConvert is free to use and in fact, the developers encourage everyone to use their converter for free while they are still in beta. The free version allows for 10 conversion minutes per day with a maximum file size of 100MB. CloudConvert defines conversion minutes as the length it takes to convert a file. Bigger files are going to take more time to convert. In order to have more than 10 minutes of conversion time a day, users must upgrade. Users have the option to upgrade to 25, 500, 2,000, or 10,000 conversion minutes per day.
