Google is currently working on creating an Internet domain registration. They are calling it Google Domains. Because they are still in beta, Google is offering this by invitation only. You need a code to get started or you can also request an invitation code. Google is competing with GoDaddy, one of the biggest domain registrations. Unlike GoDaddy, Google will not host your site; they will simply allow you to create a domain of your choice. Google Domains has teamed with website builders such as Wix, Weebly and Squarespace where you can create your website.
