Have you ever wanted to tell someone something but could never say it to his or her face? Leak is an online service that allows users to send anonymous emails to anyone. Leak is a passive-aggressive approach. Leak works by allowing users to type in any email address and then select the relationship of the recipient. The relationship could either be family, friend, or coworker. Once users are finished writing the email, they hit the send button, which reads “Send This Leak Anonymously.”

Currently, the website is down due to the amount of success. However, the company hopes to be back up and running soon. Leak should include a disclaimer because the emails are not entirely anonymous. Leak stores the link and the IP address. This information is stored for security reasons. The only reason Leak would need this information is when legal matters are involved. Leak does not store email addresses or users identity. The website does ask that users follow the Do’s and Don’ts of the site. Users should not bully or share private information.

When Leak is available again, you can send that love note to your crush, or perhaps tell a coworker about their annoying habits. Whatever you need to say, Leak can make sure your identify is not revealed.
