Soundhawk is the first smart listening system that was created to help amplify sound. However, Soundhawk is not intended for the hearing impaired or anyone with disabilities. Soundhawk is designed for situations when you want to hear someone better. Imagine you are in a noisy restaurant and have a group of people at your table. The person across the room is telling a story but because the restaurant is too loud, you are only able to make out some of what they are saying. This is where Soundhawk comes into action. With your smartphone and Soundhawk’s earpiece, you are able to control the sound and reduce any unwanted background noise using the Soundhawk app. Soundhawk comes with a wireless microphone where you can set in front of the person speaking and control the settings using your smartphone and Soundhawk app. Essentially this amplifies anything you want to hear which goes directly into your ear from the device.

Soundhawk comes with three pieces: the scoop, charging case and a wireless microphone. The scoop is a small headset that functions as Bluetooth with your smartphone. The device uses the Soundhawk app, which can be downloaded on your phone. The Soundhawk app has four presets for you to select: indoors, dining, driving or outdoors. Users are able to manually control each preset if needed. The scoop can range up to 33 feet however, operates best within 15 feet. The scoop has up to 8 hours of use before needing to be recharged.

The microphone has wireless connection with the scoop. It is an omni-directional microphone with wideband audio. It also has adaptive noise cancellation. It was designed as a clip and therefore can be worn on clothing or if preferred, set on a table. The microphone can be used for 3 hours or up to 6 hours if used with your mobile and while in the charging case.

The charging case has a micro USB connection. It is small enough to fit in a purse or pocket, making it easy to carry with you. The charger case is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that allows 2 additional charges for the scoop or one for the scoop and one for the microphone.

Currently they offer Soundhawk in a graphite or sand color. Soundhawk’s website has a limited time pre-order offer for $279 when originally $299. Soundhawk includes free shipping and a 365-day warranty for customers. If customers are unsatisfied with the device they also have 60-day return policy.
