Do you have thousands of photos on Facebook? Have you ever wondered if there was a way to backup all your social media photos? Perhaps you already use DropBox or Google Drive to back up your files and would like an alternative. Russian developers created Yandex.Disk, which is a free storage service that safely stores your files on Yandex’s server. Yandex.Disk allows you to access your files on any internet-enabled device, regardless of your operating system or platform. Yandex.Disk offers a new feature, which allows users to store photos and videos on Yandex from their social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+. With this new feature, users are also able to edit and enhance their photos. Users can store tagged photos and also share any stored images from Yandex.Disk to Facebook or another social media.

Yandex.Disk offers up to 20GB of free space but if you need more storage you must purchase additional space. Yandex.Disk has three different packages for additional space: 10GB for $10 a year, 100GB for $50 a year, and 1TB for $200 a year.

So if you are looking for place to store your files or you’ve used up space on another cloud service, take a look into Yandex.Disk and let us know what you think.
